Pre-rolls
Ready-to-smoke joints — single strain, infused, or blended packs.
What pre-rolls are, and how they behave.
Pre-rolls are exactly what they sound like: rolled, packed, and packaged joints that skip the prep. Quality varies more than any other category. The best pre-rolls use whole-flower bud from a single named strain; the worst use shake and trim swept off the floor.
Three things to check on a pre-roll. First, the flower itself — is it a named strain, or just "hybrid blend"? Second, the burn — even ash and a slow draw suggest a careful roll. Third, infusion — many pre-rolls now add kief, hash, or distillate to bump potency, which changes both the flavor and how hard they hit.
Format matters: a 0.5 g single is a casual session; a 1 g classic is a longer one; a multi-pack of 0.3 g "dogwalkers" is built for short, repeatable sessions. Infused pre-rolls can exceed 40% total THC and are not where to start.
